Comprehensive Wellness Panels & Lab Testing

Our most advanced blood panel is designed to give you a complete picture of internal health. It evaluates core areas including hormone and metabolic function, energy, nutrition, cardiovascular and organ health— identifying root cause issues which allow you to make the most informed decisions to drive personalized wellness treatments and protocols. With key markers for inflammation, insulin resistance, and lipid (cardiac) optimization, you’ll gain the clarity you need to take control of your long-term wellness and confidently move toward your goals.

Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)

The Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) assesses kidney function, liver function, blood sugar levels, fluid and electrolyte balance, and protein levels. The CMP also helps in screening for and monitoring electrolyte disturbances and conditions like diabetes, liver and kidney disease.

Metabolism & Diabetes Evaluation

Insulin sensitivity labs assess an individual's ability to regulate blood sugar levels. When insulin resistance occurs, the cells do not take up enough glucose, causing high blood sugar levels which leads to an increased risk of prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, fat storage, heart disease, stroke, and kidney disease.

Nutritional Evaluation

  • Provides insights into an individual's nutritional status and can help identify deficiencies or imbalances related to bone health, inflammation, mood, energy, blood cell production, and nervous system function.

    • Vitamin D

    • Vitamin B12

    • Magnesium

  • An iron panel evaluates different aspects of iron in your body to assess if you have enough iron, if your body is using iron effectively, and if you have too much iron stored. Symptoms of iron  imbalance can include fatigue, weakness, muscle cramps, irritability, shortness of breath or pale skin.

Cardiac Evaluation

  • CRP (C-reactive protein) is a protein produced by the liver in response to inflammation in the body, often elevated during infections or chronic inflammatory conditions. High CRP levels may indicate a serious infection, injury, or chronic disease. Slightly elevated CRP can also be a risk factor for heart disease, even in apparently healthy individuals.

    • C-Reactive Protein, High Sensitivity (hsCRP)

Homocysteine is an amino acid that can be elevated due to vitamin deficiencies (B6, B12, or folic acid) or kidney problems. Elevated homocysteine levels are linked to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, peripheral artery disease or stroke.

    • Homocysteine

  • An advanced lipid profile assessment provides a detailed look at cholesterol and other fats in the blood. It goes beyond measuring total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, and triglycerides, (standard cholesterol test) to also assess LDL particle number, LDL particle size, apoB, and Lp(a). This helps identify individuals at higher risk for metabolic syndrome, a cluster of conditions (including high blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess abdominal fat, and abnormal cholesterol levels) that increase the risk of heart disease and stroke.

    • Lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a))

    • Apolipoprotein-B (ApoB)

    • Apolipoprotein A-1 (ApoA)

Advances Thyroid Hormone Evaluation

  • Thyroid hormone labs assess the levels of hormones produced by the thyroid gland, which regulates thyroid hormone production. These tests help diagnose and monitor thyroid disorders like hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) and hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), and help determine the appropriate dosage of thyroid medication.

Traditional labs typically only check TSH, which can be normal despite having symptoms and suboptimal levels of thyroid function. Evaluating the whole thyroid panel allows for a full picture of thyroid function and the opportunity for thyroid optimization, which focuses on achieving optimal thyroid hormone levels and function. Our full thyroid panel goes beyond what's considered "normal" by conventional medicine, to alleviate symptoms and improve overall well-being.

    • Reverse T3

  • Thyroid antibodies are proteins produced by the immune system that target the thyroid gland. High levels can indicate an autoimmune thyroid disorder, where the body's immune system mistakenly attacks its own thyroid tissue. Thyroid antibodies include: Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody (TPOAb), Thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAb), and Thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor antibodies (TRAb).

    • Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody (TPOAb)

Sex Hormone Evaluation

Sex hormone evaluation assesses the levels of various hormones in the body, including estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone. These tests are used to evaluate a person's hormonal balance and identify any imbalances that may be contributing to sexual dysfunction, infertility, fatigue, changes in mood, focus, weight gain, loss of muscle mass, or other health issues.

    • Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG)

    • Progesterone

    • Prolactin

    • Luteinizing Hormone

    • Follicle-Stimulating Hormone

  • Adrenal and neurosteroid labs evaluate hormone levels related to the adrenal glands and brain, specifically neurosteroids, which influence nervous system function. Cortisol and DHEA are adrenal hormones with opposing effects on the body, particularly in response to stress. DHEA, especially DHEA-S (sulfate), is generally considered to have beneficial effects, including enhancing immunity, supporting mental well-being, and potentially improving metabolism. In contrast, high cortisol levels are associated with stress, metabolic problems, and increased risk of certain diseases.

    • DHEA-S

    • *Pregnenolone + $60 (significant hormone precursor with potential benefits for cognitive function, stress management, and hormone balance)

  • IGF-1 regulates the effects of growth hormone (GH) on the body and plays a crucial role in bone and muscle tissue growth. This level decreases as we age and is reflective of loss of muscle mass. It can be helpful in determining a growth hormone / peptide protocol.

    • Insulin-Like Growth Factor I (IGF-1)

Prostate Evaluation (Men Only)

A PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) evaluates the level of a protein called PSA in the blood, which can help detect potential issues with the prostate gland, particularly prostate cancer. Elevated PSA levels may indicate prostate cancer, but can also be caused by other conditions like an enlarged prostate or prostatitis.
